Proprietary Notice: This document contains confidential information proprietary to Clear to Close Services and may not be reproduced, copied or used for purposes other than its intended use without the prior written consent of Clear to Close Services. The information in this document is subject to change without notice.
The current scope of this plan is limited to our Web Server Environment and the Clear to Close Services infrastructure. This is a business continuity plan, not a daily problem resolution procedures document. Additional sections will be included for overall business operations.
In order to access our application and/or websites, you may be required to provide certain personally identifiable information at various times and places, including but not limited to your name, title, company name, address, telephone number, and email address that you voluntarily provide or is provided by your employer to provide you with access. When you place an order for subscription services on our site or through Web Services, we may collect personal information from you including your credit card information and email address to which we will send an order confirmation. We collect this information on web pages using encryption technology to help prevent any third party from intercepting the information. We only use your credit card information for completing the purchase transaction and our billing provider saves your credit card information for recurring billing purposes. We may use the information provided by our customers to analyze product trends based on, for example, geographic and demographic factors. This analysis helps us improve the quality of our website. When an order is placed for real estate services we provide directly or through our service providers, we may collect Personal Information about you from the following sources:
We may use the information we collect to notify you occasionally about important functionality changes to our website, new CTCS services, and special offers we believe you will find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, you may opt out at any time. We send every promotion with explicit opt-out instructions. From time to time, we may randomly contact customers about participating in a survey about our products, services, and/or website. Your feedback helps us identify customer needs, levels of satisfaction, and improve and/or develop new products and services for you and your family. These surveys are always voluntary and you may opt out at any time. Our host web server tracks and collects general information about the visits to our web site. While IP addresses (the internet address of a computer) are logged to track a user’s session, the user remains anonymous. We analyze this data for certain trends and statistics, such as which parts of our site users are visiting, how long they spend there, the visitors’ domain names and what countries those requests come from. We do not link your IP addresses to anything personally identifiable to you. We will collect general information (such as the type of browser you use and the files you request) to improve our Web site and better meet your needs. Some of the Clear to Close Services web site may make use of “cookie” technology to measure site activity and to customize information to your personal tastes. A cookie is an element of data that a Web site can send to your browser, which may then store the cookie on your hard drive. ClearToCloseServices.com uses stored cookies. The goal of this technology is to better serve you when visiting our site, save you time when you are here and to provide you with a more meaningful and productive Web site experience.
While you are on the website, or while you are otherwise viewing our content, you may encounter Web beacons, which may come from Clear to Close Services or from third parties, such as content providers. A Web beacon, which is sometimes also called a “Web bug” or “clear gif,” is a small graphic image in a Web page, a Web-based document, or an email message, which generally allows the party that set the Web beacon to monitor certain information about the viewer of the Web page, Web-based document, or email message, and it may allow access to certain cookies. Web beacons are usually invisible to the user, because they are small. In general, however, any electronic image viewed as part of a Web page, including an advertisement, can act as a Web beacon. Web beacons typically collect the URL of the page the Web beacon comes from, the type of browser requesting the Web beacon, the IP address of the computer that the Web beacon is sent to, and the time the Web beacon was viewed. Web beacons can also be linked to personally identifiable information. We may aggregate information we collect through Web beacons. Clear to Close Services does not have control over Web beacons used by third parties and does not have access to whatever information they may collect.
We request information from you for our own legitimate business purposes and not for the benefit of any nonaffiliated party. Therefore, we will not release your information to nonaffiliated parties except:
as necessary for us to provide the product or service you have requested of us; or as permitted by law.
We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. However, we cannot guarantee the protection of information against interception, misappropriation, misuse, or alteration or that your information may be not be disclosed or accessed by accidental circumstances or by the unauthorized acts of others. You should be aware that we have no control over the security of other sites on the Internet you might visit, interact with, or from which you buy products or services.
This Website is operated in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. By using this Website, participating in any of our products or services and/or providing us with your information, you consent to this transfer. The server architecture can be configured so that servers can be located at different data centers so that in case of such a disaster at one data center the system can keep on working because another set of servers can be co-located at a different site.
